One Bright Night

Last monday, went out with the family for dinner.

Finally a nice night without any rain and it was a full moon that night plus the moon was shining very brightly.

So, around 9.30m, took my Sony Alpha 350 and took some shots of the full moon that night and my personal favourite is this picture…

Reminds me of God who created everything in this world and the universe. Like what is written in

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

I did little twitch a little on the photo…..

Well, got 2 stings during the weekend.

The Lutong Baru Church Fundraising was the 1st which was on last Saturday Night @ Boulevard Restaurant. The Church were raising fund to renovate the new lot they had just bought. Response I would say were not bad.

Something to Ponder….

It’s not just another week but a new week. Trying to look at things in a different way. Everyday is a new day given by God.

Verses that always reminds me of the greatness of God is

Ps 37:4, ”Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

A Strong message from God spoke about asking and seeking us to forgive one another and to be obedient to HIM. Sometimes we try to be as intellectual in our thinking and in our actions or try to do things in a complicated way or we try to study every detail of a problem. But we forget our basics in knowing Christ, which is back to forgiveness & Obedience, Letting it all go and surrender unto God and let God do the rest and putting our faith & trust in HIM.

The NANA’s day out (Part 2)

After church yesterday, Lit Tak, Joshua & Myself went for another round of photoshooting with The NANAs aka Serena & Kenaina. hehe..Fun day again with those 2 girls. We had limited time with them due to time constraint, and also not much shots were taken. But it was a fun day. I let the photos speak for itself. Enjoy!!!

Food & Road Trip (Bintulu) Part 2

As promise, I will update today. We start off our journey at 6.30am. Fetched the 2 guys, Lit Tak & Randy then we headed to Bintulu via the coastal highway. Then we headed straight to Parkcity Mall to meet up with Michelle who came a day earlier to attend a friend’s wedding and would be joining us back to Miri.

After getting Michelle, we headed for Hartz Chicken at Medan Jaya. When we were there, an interesting took place. So we went inside the shop, then Lit Tak was with his camera. All of the sudden the lady said, ” U can’t take photos in here. Put them at the counter and all your bags belongings.” I brought my laptop with me.

I told that person that I’m carrying my laptop.

NO WAY in the world I’m going to put my laptop there.

Why?

1) I don’t trust you carry my personal belonging what more to say my expensive laptop.

2) That is the first shop EVER that insist to handover laptops. Other shops usually let us go if we tell them it’s a laptop

So we gave in, the worst part of all, they even “confiscated” Michelle’s handbags. She has to take her purse out. Since we already part paid for the buffet, we just give in and just makan la… Upset? Yes we were. Pissed off?? yes we were. But at least we get to dine in with “all you can eat” food. Sorry guys no photos of the food we ate due to unforeseen circumstances that our cameras were confiscated.

After that interesting meal, we headed to Similajau National Park. Saw some interesting sightings at the beach. We were there for a while then we head back to Miri. We left Bintulu at 3.30pm because we want to reach Miri before Sunset.

Saw this Intestine lying on the beach. Don’t know belongs to who or which animal..

Last but not least, the beach is awesome & nice

Food & Road Trip (Brunei) Part 1

Well, this post is long overdue. Last monday (29th Dec 2008), Serena, Kenaina, Michelle & Myself went to Brunei for a day trip. We started our journey at 10am. Cross the Malaysian border at 10++. But then we got stuck at the jam after the Malaysian Border. By the time we cross the Brunei Border, it was almost 12 noon…Almost 2 hours at the border..so much for a waste of time.

So after the whole ordeal, we headed to Escapade Sushi at Kuala Belait. My first time there. And people are all telling me it’s nice place to dine it and reasonable price for japanese food. So we all dine on the bento set. Michelle and I opted for Sashimi Bento aka raw fish. Kenaina opted for Unagi Bento aka eel and Serena opted dumplings and seafood. Forgot the name of the set.

After our meal, satisfied stomach I would say…:D

And so after that we headed to Seria to look around then bought some stuffs at the Plaza Seria then head to Supersave. Supersave is like a “must stop shop” for all Mirians who goes to Brunei. Basically U can get all imported products which are not available in Miri at a cheaper price even after conversion.

And So afte that we bought kebabs for ourselves them we haeded back home to Miri. We left Kuala Belait at 5pm and arrive around 6pm.

The NANA’s Day Out

Well, Happy New Year All. New Year means = New Dreams, New Hope & New Commitment in Him . That’s how i sum it up. Prior to that, last tuesday, Lit Tak, Randy and Myself went for photoshooting with the Nana’s aka, Serena & Kenaina. It was my first time on a photo shoot. Well the girls were awesome. Tiring as it was, we had a fun day that day.
