I have written this about 2 weeks ago.
I got up and opened up my laptop and logged into RBC.NET. Went to today’s Quiet time and reading. I like the topic today and the passage. It really speaks to me and thus keeps reminding me, that GOD is always there and mightier than any other forces in the world.
It’s taken from
Habakkuk 1:1-5 (New International Version)
Habakkuk 1
1 The oracle that Habakkuk the prophet received.
Habakkuk’s Complaint
2 How long, O LORD, must I call for help,
but you do not listen?
Or cry out to you, “Violence!”
but you do not save?
3 Why do you make me look at injustice?
Why do you tolerate wrong?
Destruction and violence are before me;
there is strife, and conflict abounds.
4 Therefore the law is paralyzed,
and justice never prevails.
The wicked hem in the righteous,
so that justice is perverted.
The Lord ’s Answer
5 “Look at the nations and watch—
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.
It’s like we complaint of our struggles and pains. We get angry for no reason and blaming others for everything. Disappointments after disappointments. But then v.5 says that

I love that verse. It says above all everything is under control with God. God knows what is he doing and He knows best of any of out plans.
This passage also reminds me of the message yesterday by Ps Daniel Singh. The title of the message is Hearing from GOD. Taken from Genesis 22
In this passage, God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son. How do feel when God ask u to that? Would you do it? What more to say you sacrifice your son (only son) to God?
Many of us would not want to take that step. But Abraham did. He actually took that step.
He did it out of obedience. To my understanding, Abraham did not rebel against God. Just as he was about to sacrifice his son, an angel of the Lord told him to stop and he said… 12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
And then, 13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram [a] caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”
So just as something is going to happen, (usually something unpleasant, There is always a blessing in store out of it. Just like the story of Abraham, he obeyed God to sacrifice his son but God told to stop and at the same time, a ram was coming up the mountain from the other side, and God told him to sacrifice the Ram instead of his son.
Looking back, bad things may happen for a reason and I personally believe that God has a wonderful plan that He is going to reveal in his own time. The only way is we put our trust in God and have faith in Him. We just need to be aware of the calling and learn to fix our eyes and ears to God. God may ask us to do something impossible but in Him it’s possible. Amen!!!
Thank You Jesus for speaking into me!!! In Jesus Name, Amen.
